"Jodi" is a stunning black tri bitch with little to moderate white trim and dark rich copper. Jodi is OFA good and is eyes clear yrly, full dent/scissor bite. Jodi is very typey with nice movement, structure and nice bone. She is a pistol to live with and loves the ring as much as she thrives in the field. She is pointed in AKC, but tho she enjoys the ring, her heart is with her "charge", Becca; and in the field with the Texas Long Horns. Her temperament and personality are to be greatly desired. Jodi is our first born daughter of our "Jesse" and granddaughter to our "Beloved Bessie".
Several years ago when Jodi was just a young pup....6 months or so..... We sent her to Alison to ck out her ability on stock. That was the fateful day that we lost her. :-) It was that weekend that Becca fell in love with Jodi and that love was immediately returned by Jodi. Jodi sat patiently for hours on the picnic table in their backyard while Becca dressed her in doll clothes. Then she would go into the pasture with Alison to work the herd of Texas Long Horns...if she heard Becca call, ONLY once mind you.....she came to Becca's side. She slept with her and saw to her every move. There was a bond that no one could break. When it came time for us to bring Jodi home, it was evident that that bond should not be broken. Just one week back here with us and we met again to bring Jodi "home" where she actually belonged.....with her Becca. :-)

Jodi is much loved and trained by Alison Whittington. She is greatly loved by the entire family, Steve, Alison, Danielle, Clay and Becca as well as Mike & me of EagleRun. She is the absolute delight of Becca Whittington. Jodi takes her job of watching out for Becca very seriously. And Becca returns that special love. To see these two together, is to see true love manifested completely. Jodi may never enter the ring again, you see, she has a much greater job to fulfill. At the beginning of this year, *2001*, Steve and Alison learned that Becca has Leukemia as well as Diabetes induced by the disease and is also a Down Syndrome Child. It has been very hard on the family and is going to be a very long road for both Becca and the family. Jodi has been allowed to visit her at the hospital and is the delight of all who have met her there. Becca lives to see Jodi. Jodi is Becca's constant companion at home and looks forward to the visits at the hospital as well. Please keep Becca and the family in your constant thoughts and prayers.
